ABOUT GURU EDDIE IVESTER (R.I.P.)                                                            

Mr. Ivester was involved in the Security & Law Enforcement field for over 20 years. He was a Deputy Sheriff, Florida State Prison Correctional Officer, Body Guard, Bouncer, Security Officer & Security Consultant as well as having joined the USMC in 1986 to serve his country. Prior to his passing he served as a Force Protection Officer at a US Military Facility.  Mr. Ivester actively taught the martial arts for over 23 years.  He was the owner and Chief Instructor of  the Institute of Combat Technology.  Mr. Ivester began formally studying Martial Arts in 1976 and studied for over 31 years, learning arts such as Silat, Kuntao, Muay  Thai and others.  Mr. Ivester had been in over 100 use of force situations involving up to 5 different attackers at the same time due to his work in High Risk fields as well as growing up in some tough neighborhoods. Through his vast experience of real life threatening encounters he has developed a style of self-protection that's simple, fast, efficient and effective in today's real world.




ABOUT GURU DAVID SIEWERT                                                                       



David Seiwert has been studying and teaching the martial arts for the past 60 years. He currently teaches the arts of: DFA KunTao DFA Kali DFA Defense System






ABOUT GURU JAMES HOGUE                                                                         

James Hogue is the Chief Instructor of Malay Fighting Arts.  He started in the martial art of DS Cimande in March, 1975 under Master David Santiago. Guro James has also trained in various systems from Southeast Asia. Including Poekoelan Tjiminde (Wetzel System), Huc Chun Kuntao (Reeders System), Filipino-Chinese White Crane Kung Fu, Pangasinan Kali (Filipino Martial Arts), and many other systems. Guro Hogue has also worked extensively in high risk professions including Barroom Security, Fugitive Retrieval and Corrections.  Guro Hogue has also served with the US Army Military Police, and finally as a local and federal Police Officer While serving in Iraq he was selected to be the Chief Unarmed Self-Defense (USD) Instructor that planned the entire course for the Iraqi Police Academy. He also trained other service men in Iraq.
